Gray Dragul, Founder – GDA Real Estate Services

Background and Track record
Based in Greenwood Village, Colorado, GDA Real Estate Services, LLC is a commercial real estate acquisitions company founded in 1997 by Gary J. Dragul. GDA has expertise in the acquisition, disposition, leasing and management of commercial properties. Gary initially worked extensively with a financial partner out of Los Angeles, California, and has since acquired over 300 properties in 15 states. Since 2003, GDA Real Estate Services has closed an average of $400mil per year in retail center investment transaction volume, constituting approximately 80% of GDA’s real estate activity, with the remaining in multifamily and student housing.

GDA Real Estate Services, LLC currently employs a staff off 18 real estate and accounting professionals who oversee acquisitions, debt origination, property management, asset management, and leasing. The majority of the staff has been working with GDA for over 12 years. During that time, the GDA leasing operation completed approximately 4,000 lease transactions involving more than 13,484,152 square feet. The GDA Real Estate Services, LLC team has the reputation and proven ability to source, facilitate and close real estate transactions quickly.

What has your experience working with Hagshama/ Cogress US been like?
We have done about 10 deals together, and we are currently presenting 2 for potential JV investment. Our goal is to complete at least one deal per month. I talk about it all the time with my staff. Hagshama is the best and most disciplined investment company I’ve worked with.

What is most remarkable is how intensely focused they are on doing what is best for the investor. The people are great to work with and are very professional and detail oriented. I’m amazed every time I work with anyone from Hagshama. The team works very smoothly, which is amazing for what is now such a large team. With regards to our partnership, Hagshama does everything they say they’ll do.

What is the biggest value Hagshama / Cogress US brings to your business?
Hagshama takes responsibility for interacting with investors so we can spend our time focusing on what we do best, facilitating and closing real estate transactions quickly.
